Last Spring I decided to start preparing my Virginia Beach townhouse for sale in 1998. The townhouse was a rental unit being managed by Rose & Womble at the time. The management people put me in touch with Barnum, Laurens & Associates. The team was enthusiastic, forthright, and honest in telling me what needed to be done and what the market was doing. They were unfazed by the fact the property was a year from being on the market.. Because of the team's honesty and enthusiasm andtheir professional experience with the contracting world, I feel I received first class service at reasonable prices in preparing the property. We worked together to establish a reasonable listing price and to identify key selling features for marketing the property. Within 10 days of listing he had a contract. Although this buyer did not qualify, within a week of release, another buyer was found. Getting to closing was no picnic for various reasons beyond the team's or my control.
